New
Youth Director Sara Bryan!
Temple Beth El has grown its own youth director in
Sara Bryan. Sara grew up in TBE religious school and Hebrew High and she is
excited about this opportunity to lead our next generation of youth.
Rabbi Micah Streiffer says of Sara, “She is a top notch Jewish professional
and a great programmer. She is creative,
knowledgeable, approachable, and her energy is contagious! It is an exciting
time for youth programming at Temple Beth El.”

Get ready for Wildacres!
August 29th - Eat, Pray, Love!
The 2008 Wildacres weekend begins August 29th so reserve the
date! Wildacres is our annual Temple retreat in the mountains of North
Carolina. It is a time of spiritual
connection and relaxation, of making new friends and spending time with
family. Whether experiencing Shabbat services overlooking a mountain vista,
hiking in the woods under waterfalls, participating in meaningful and
relevant programs, or eating a lot, you will make memories that will last
you a lifetime.

The food pantry at Jewish Family Services feeds up to 150 people a month.
Holidays are the greatest times of need. As you buy your own turkey, think
about sharing your blessings with those in need. Food can be dropped off at
the Temple Beth El lobby.
