TEVA

TEVA is the Temple Environmental Vision and Advocacy Group.  TEVA is the Hebrew word for “Nature” and speaks to the rich Jewish heritage of caring for and protecting the earth based on the teachings of Torah.

TEVA serves as a focal point for identifying and developing programs for such TBE activities as:
(1) increasing awareness of environmental issues and solutions related to TBE, Shalom Park and our community;
(2) promoting advocacy and action related to specific environmental concerns;
(3) educating TBE congregants and staff on how to reduce carbon footprint for buildings and day-to-day living.

If you would like to join TEVA and/or offer your ideas, please John Dabels (jrdabels@bellsouth.net / 704-544-9907).
