Temple Beth El, the largest Reform Congregation in the Carolinas, is
governed by a Board of Directors elected by the general membership of
the Temple. The Executive Board consists of the following
officers: President, First Vice President, Vice President of Education,
Vice President of Planning, Vice President of Finance, Treasurer,
Recording Secretary, Immediate Past President, Honorary Lifetime
President and two Presidential Appointees. The Board of
Directors includes the Executive Board and 15 At-large members - three
classes of 5 members each elected for three year terms. In
addition, the Women of Reform Judaism, Brotherhood, Youth, and
Senior Adults have seats on the board as do two additional Presidential

Members, click here. The Board of Directors meets monthly on the fourth Monday of each month and meetings are open to the membership. The Board of Directors is responsible for Temple policies related to worship and the general operational issues of the Temple.
