Senior Sage

Fourth Annual Senior Sage Class to Focus on Advocating for Israel

SPICE is pleased to present this year’s Senior Sage Class entitled, “Israel: The Enigma.” The class will meet on the fourth Monday of each month, October through May, from Noon to 1:30 pm. Presenters will include our clergy and community experts. The 8-class series will feature lectures and facilitated discussions as well as organized study groups between formal sessions.

This class will provide you with the knowledge you need to advocate in support of our homeland. The topics will range from exploring Israel’s historic claim to the land to early Zionism to the wars and conflicts that transformed Israel’s landscape.  We will explore the Israeli/Palestinian conflict from early Zionism to today. During the course of the class, we will celebrate Israel’s 63rd birthday and include predictions for her future.

Class will begin on October 25th. The cost of the course is $36/person. To register call the RSVP line at 704-749-3070 or go to http://www.beth-el.com/rsvp.html.
