Temple Beth El offers membership in 27 committees, chaired by congregants, which plan and implement the programs and services we offer.  Many congregants serve on these committees which provide a wonderful opportunity to volunteer and become active in the Temple.

The Temple’s auxiliary organizations, the Brotherhood & Women of Reform Judaism, not only offer regular programming but also provide generous financial support.  The Brotherhood provides chaperones and sponsors the confirmation class trip to Washington each year and has funded projects such as the Temple’s computer and phone systems.  Brotherhood members are our ushers each Friday night and at our High Holy Day services.

The Women of Reform Judaism, through the operation of the Discovered Traditions gift shop, provides scholarship funding for families needing financial assistance for Religious School and Hebrew High School tuitions.

Our leadership also serve on and are involved in the Foundation of Shalom Park and Foundation of the Charlotte Jewish Community Boards of Directors.
