CAST AWAY YOUR SINS - TASHLICH SERVICE/BRUNCH
Sunday, September, 12th, 12:00-2:00pm @ Shalom Park (TBE)

LIBERTY will host its 2nd annual youth-led Tashlich Service. Tashlich is the tradition of casting away your sins to start a happy and healthy New Year. Meet in front of the Bernstein Education Building. Pay online HERE or RSVP to libertycvp@gmail.com. Cost: $4.00 for brunch. 

NFTY-SAR FALL KALLAH - REGISTRATION IS OPEN
NFTY-SAR Fall Kallah is NOW OPEN for all 9th-12th graders!  Fall Kallah will take place October 1-3, 2010 at Temple Sinai in Atlanta, GA (hosted by SCRUFY)!  The event will begin at 6pm on Friday, October 1 and will conclude at 10am on Sunday, October 3.   A NFTY-SAR Kallah includes teen-led Shabbat worship, games, meeting and building friendships with Jewish teens from all over the region, singing, learning, playing and fun fun fun!  Approximately 200 teens from around the Southeast are expected to be at this event - don't be left out!

You can register by going to www.nfty.org/sar/events (username:  nftysar and password:  chai18).  From now through September 15, there is early bird registration!  The early bird registration price is $95.00.  From Sept 16-September 23 is regular registration.  During this time, the price will be $110.  After September 23rd we will accept late registrations on a space-available basis, and the registration fee will be $125.00. 

If this is your teen's first NFTY-SAR event this school year, you will need to fill out the health and safety form in addition to the online registration.  Please mail it back to me at TBE, drop it in my box in the main office, or scan and email it to me.  I will sign it and forward it on to the region. 

I am researching the best options for transportation and will send you details and costs in the coming weeks. For now, please budget $65-$75 for transportation to and from the event. I will also be in touch about the time of departure, but we expect to be leaving TBE around 11:45am-12:15pm on Friday, October 1st.


 
LIBERTY (Life In Beth El Reform Temple Youth) is TBE’s flagship youth group for teens in 8th-12th grades. The teen-elected LIBERTY board organizes and implements programs with assistance from Andy Harkavy, Youth Director, and Rabbi Micah Streiffer. From awesome outdoor events to social action projects to meaningful weekend programs with other Jewish teens throughout the Southeast, LIBERTY offers teens the best way to become involved, make life-long friendships, and set the course for their own Jewish journey.
