Fulfill the mitzvah of saving your pennies and bringing them into Beth El. Our brothers and sisters at St. Matthew Catholic Church raised $18,000 simply by collecting pennies.  We will follow their great lead.  Simply by bringing your pennies to Beth El, we will turn them into food cards and gas cards to help the needy of our Jewish community and of our Charlotte community.  When we are all once farmers, we were not meant to pick our vineyards bare or pick up the gleanings of wheat that were left behind. Consider your pennies those gleanings. Put them in jar and give them to those in need.
