Who might want to view the service?
|
| The list is endless but here
are a few possibilities. Our children in college or traveling, living
away from home; Someone in the Armed Forces Former members who moved
away from Charlotte but still love our services at TBE; Someone who does
not have a temple that is convenient; Someone who is not able to leave
home but wants to stay connected to TBE and High Holiday services.
We
are checking into local residential facilities, Carriage Club, Cypress,
and Sunrise, to make sure that our seniors (who don’t always go out at
night) will have access to this service.
Please let us know of other
facilities around town who may be interested. |
The director of Jewish Family Services, Penny Wagner-Schuster, is very
excited about this project and said, “This is what outreach is all
about.” Jewish Family Services is working in conjunction with the TBE
Caring Committee to make this program accessible to everyone who might
want to use it.
If you know someone who might be interested, please help
spread the word that they can stay connected to TBE during the most
spiritual and meaningful time of the year. Please call the TBE Caring
Committee at
704-366-1948 ext 111 for information and assistance or JFS at
704-364-6594. |
| Note: For those without a
connection, we will have DVDs available (along with players) for in-home use. |

Subject: internet service
Sara,
Just a quick note to let you know how much the internet service meant to
my mother. She has not been able to attend services for about 5 years.
after dinner friday we sat on the couch and watch the service while the
rest of the family attended the service. Thanks
Happy New Year to you, Mike and your family.
